1. What is the mandate of Daily Christian Quotes?
Our Mission:
To provide Quality Christian Quotes, sayings of Christian writers from ancient historical believers to present day popular writers and speakers, and everyday Christians. Available via email subscription or by reading directly on the website. On site quotes archives are organized by subject, date and by author.
Our History :
Daily Christian Quotes (DCQ) began in 1999 as a small mailing list sent to collegues of "I Lift My Eyes Web Ministries". by Katherine Walden, the webmaster. As time went on, recepients would contact Katherine asking her to resend certain quotes, asking for authors, etc. Katherine responded by creating a small section of quotes within the "I Lift My Eyes Web Ministries" web site. In 2011, approximately 3300 subscribers receive the DCQ on a daily basis. 800 Subscribers belong to the weekly anthology newsletter. Thousands visit the DCQ weekly to browse through the vast archives.
What Others Are Saying A few notes of kind encouragement from others about the role the web ministry has had in their lives.
Future Goals:
We hope to have the quotes placed within a more modern database that could be easily searched. At present, Katherine does not have the skills or the physical endurance to complete such a task.

8. Why do you have a quote from ___(fill in the blank). I disagree with their doctrine/church/views.
The DCQ has been in operation for over 15 years and we have compiled thousands of quotes from many Christian authors, pastors, speakers and public figures from many streams and denominations. We will not remove a quote unless you can prove that the speaker/writer of the quote does not follow this generic statement of faith to which the majority of evangelical and mainstream Christian denominations world-wide adhere. If you find our stance to be difficult, perhaps it might be helpful to remember: Truth can be spoken from the lips of fools and from the lips of donkeys if God so chooses.
